Communities

Saugus

Located in the northern central area of Santa Clarita, Saugus boasts proximity to multiple parks and outdoor spaces. These spaces include the Bouquet Canyon Park, Pamplico Park, and Santa Clarita Park. Saugus is a community made up almost entirely of residential development, winding through Bouquet Canyon Road. It’s also home to one of Los Angeles County’s oldest restaurants, The Saugus Cafe.

Valencia

Each village in Valencia has its personality, with schools, shopping, and restaurants available in each section. Interconnected pathways are located over or under the streets and boulevards, called paseos, making it possible to travel throughout the community on foot or by bicycle without needing a vehicle. Safety is also a priority in Valencia, with most residential areas having a homeowners association and neighborhood watch program.

Stevenson Ranch

A suburban community home to the newly designed one and two-story homes, Stevenson Ranch also boasts award-winning schools. California Distinguished and National Blue Ribbon Schools: Stevenson Ranch Elementary and Pico Canyon Elementary (part of the Newhall School District), and Rancho Pico Junior High, and West Ranch High School (part of the William S. Hart High School District). The Valencia Marketplace and Stevenson Ranch Shopping Center are popular shopping areas in the community. Convenience and education are at the heart of this planned community.

Santa Clarita

It is located about 30 miles (48 km) northwest of downtown Los Angeles and occupies most of the Santa Clarita Valley in northwestern Los Angeles County. Since incorporation, the City of Santa Clarita's leadership has placed a priority on offering recreational facilities and programs. Many youth-friendly activities and diversions exist. The city has established many neighborhood parks and maintains a comprehensive recreation program. There is a recreation center in Canyon Country that includes an aquatic park with wading, diving, and Olympic swimming pools along with a bicycle/skatepark, community swimming pools in both Newhall and Canyon Country, and a community center in downtown Newhall.

Castaic

Residents enjoy a semi-rural setting and attractions like Castaic Lake and Pyramid Lake. The L.A. theme park for thrill-seekers just 5-10 minutes away is Six Flags Magic Mountain. With a library and the beautiful Castaic Sports Complex Aquatic Center, lap swimmers are glad to find this pool facility. Locals rank the parks and recreation facility with high marks for its maintenance and amenities. There's a lot of fun stuff to do on the northern edge of the Simi Valley, where you find Castaic. Fillmore Railway, The Reagan Presidential Library, and the charming city of Ojai are all great places to explore.
